Our first ESG-report is ready for publication. It has been in progress for a while and has been developed because we want to practice and stay ahead in reporting, but also to show the world that we are very serious about the environment and resources and that we are a company with social responsibility.
The actual work on the report began in the fall of 2023 when we had three students draft an ESG- report. The work was inspiring and successful, and therefore we subsequently hired an ESG specialist to complete the reporting for 2023.
It has been a process that has provided great learning, and we now know where we need to improve to optimize data collection, increase the data foundation, and achieve our goals in a more efficient manner in the future.
In our management, we have made the decision to make sustainability work a natural part of the company’s future tasks. We have therefore made it an important point on the agenda of responsibility towards ourselves, our customers, and society.
Our value chain collaboration is extremely important, and therefore we naturally also want to meet our customers’ inquiries and requirements, especially in the calculation of PCF and minimizing our resource consumption and CO2e emissions in the future.
ESG and sustainability are two sides of the same coin. ESG is a way to operationalize and measure sustainability, and it helps us continuously set new goals. We hope you will find the time to read our first ESG-report, and that through our sustainability work, we can inspire others to also get started.
