Plast Tech has delivered the new JM128, JM208 and JM258 MK6 PRO machines, respectively, which are now being installed in our production hall. We need to increase capacity, and with the new equipment, it will increase it by about 20%. It supports the growth we are currently experiencing and our strategic goals for the near future. The purchase of the new machines is also in line with our goal of reducing energy consumption, producing more sustainably and reducing our CO2e emissions in the future.

The equipment is up to 60-70% more energy-efficient compared to the older machines and will therefore help reduce our energy consumption in 2024 and beyond. In addition to the savings on the machines themselves, there will also be significant energy savings on the cooling system, as the machines up to 300 tons do not require oil cooling and thus do not burden the cooling system.
The machines are very precise and help improve the quality of our output, as they constantly monitor the tolerances we accept and stop automatically if the tolerance is exceeded – this used to be a manual process for us. Additionally, a more stable production is achieved with the new machines.
Chen Hsong is a high-quality Chinese injection moulding machine, containing the same quality components as European machines, including, among others, Austrian controls with Danish language, German Erkla hydraulic pumps, German/Chinese Inovance servo technology, and Italian hydraulic hoses.
We have chosen to install robots for the machines – they are Samfacc 3-axis servo robots, which can remove moulded parts very quickly, thereby reducing cycle time. Initially, they will help us sort the injection moulding channels, so that the moulded parts are packed directly into containers and immediately transported for further processing by our employees. This saves a sorting step, and resources can be optimally used elsewhere in production. Over time, the robots will be able to optimize several workflows, including direct packing into cartons, etc. The robots also have low energy consumption.

The machines are also much quieter than the older machines, providing a better working environment for our employees, which is very important to us and aligns with our well-being goals.
